- The year of manufacture of your commercial vehicle: The shape of the rear bumper obviously differs between makes and models. However, even within a model (such as the Volkswagen Transporter), there are differences in year of manufacture.
- The type of rear door: Does your van have a tailgate or rear door closure? If so, your bumper plate may be adapted to the type of closure. Please see the list if it applies on your van.
- Functionality: Do you want a bumper plate that offers extra grip when getting in and out of the van? Then go for a bumper plate with a checker plate motif.
- More bumper protection: Do you want even more protection for your rear bumper? Then you need a rear bar. This is a steel tube that runs the entire width of your rear bumper. Among other things, the rear bar absorbs impacts when loading and unloading, keeping your rear bumper looking like new.
Mounting rear bumper plate
We provide our bumper plate with extremely strong 3M mounting tape. This allows you to glue a rear bumper protector to a rear bumper with a smooth paint finish in the blink of an eye. Is your rear bumper not sprayed and therefore has a rough surface? Then use additional mounting sealant (we recommend Bizon Poly Max) and/or attach the bumper with pop rivets.
